Hauora Taranaki PHO established in April 2003, is a successful and innovative Primary Health Organisation providing services to Taranaki communities. The organisation includes 17 GP practices and within the partnership with Tui Ora Ltd, 17 Maori providers.

The PHO has an enrolled population of approx 45,750 patients who receive services from 18 individual GP clinic sites). Geographically these practices are spread the width and breadth of Taranaki from Waitara in the North till Waverley in the South.

The 17 Maori providers affiliated to Tui Ora Ltd provide a wide range of services including mental health, nursing, care of the elderly, youth transition to employment, maternal mental health, public health and economic development with Iwi, Hapu and Whanau
