Rangatahi Youth Service
QuickInfo
- Support services for up to 18 year olds
- Kaiāwhina and kaumatua work with wider networks
- Mental health services for adolescents and young people
Tui Ora provides a range of services for youth. Through its Taranaki Youth Service contract it supports those aged between 16 and 18 who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) or are receiving a Youth Payment or Young Parent Payment (YPP). See Taranaki Youth Service for details.
Kaiāwhina and kaumatua work with a young person's wider networks and family, offering cultural support where needed.
We have centrally located offices at Devon St West and in Hawera on the corner of Grey and Princes St, however our staff are mobile and responsive, working around the region.
Read about youth worker Anne Russell here and about the support offered to one of our clients Adam Holdin.
