This service provides alcohol and drug counselling. It is a community outpatient based service provided by trained practitioners who work from our Hawera, New Plymouth and Waitara offices. Services include assessment, counselling and treatment, brief intervention, relapse prevention, referral to residential treatment and AOD education. Referrer Feedback

A Letter of acknowledgement of receipt of referral is sent to the referrer.

A letter advising of discharge is sent to the referrer when treatment is completed.
