The sun shone for a third consecutive Tui Ora Super Rāhoroi on Saturday with 149 people vaccinated across our pop-ups in Waitara and Ngāmotu. Of the 101 people vaccinated in Waitara 56% were Māori and in Ngāmotu 65% were Māori. Ka rawe!

Whānau who came along on the day were not only treated to a koha of $20 Pak n Save voucher, but they got to enter into a draw for major prizes and walk out with their bellies full with free fresh fruit ice-creams, kawhe and sausages fresh off the barbie.

A big thanks to all kaimahi who gave up their time to awhi the kaupapa and protect our  whakapapa!

On Monday evenings, Tui Ora will operate an RV at St James' Church on Lawry Street from 4-9pm in partnership with 'On the House', a local organisation that distributes surplus food back to the community. For each person vaccinated $20 will be donated to On the House.
