Tui ora communications kaimahi Michelle Cruickshank, pictured above with daughters Emily (10) and Alice (8) are among the Taranaki whānau saying NO to flu this winter.  Tui Ora is again offering free flu vaccination to kaimahi and their households from the Nau mai space at Maratahu Street and the Ngāti Rahiri building next to New World in Waitara.

Whānau Ora General Manager, Tamara Ruakere is behind the push for kaimahi to keep well as winter approaches:

"It's really important to Tui Ora as organisation for our kaimahi to be safe and well. We are expecting a high flu load to come into the country this winter as borders open so we encourage kaimahi to get in early."

Programme Manager Lisa Zame is pleased that we are also able to offer kaimahi vaccination from Waitara:

"It's great to broaden our reach in Waitara not just for kaimaihi but for the community – and it's not just flu, we can vaccinate for Covid-19 and MMR (measles, mumps & rubella) too."

Tui Ora is also offering vaccination in Opunake from the Sinclair's Events Centre on Thursdays from 12-6pm. For kaimahi after their flu jab clinics are operating from Tuesday through till Friday 9am - 5pm in New Plymouth and 10am - 4pm in Waitara.
