About this Service

Our GP service is called Tui Ora Family Health.

Our practice includes GPs as well as practice nurses and associated administrative support. We are a Cornerstone-accredited practice and a member of Midlands Health Network PHO.

Services include acute medical care, the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, minor surgical procedures, ACC consultations and services related to children's and youth health.  Our onsite pharmacy offers a range of services and is open to all.

As Tui Ora Family Health is part of Tui Ora, we have a holistic view of care, ensuring whānau can access a wide range of services and overcome many traditional barriers to health and wellbeing. 

Medical and nursing services offered:

  • Standard medical consultations and nursing appointments
  • Nurse cervical smear clinics
  • Minor surgical procedures
  • Assessment and treatment for minor accidents
  • Regular recall for breast examinations, cervical smears, diabetes checks and immunisations
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Contraceptive advice, sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment
  • Six-week new baby checks
  • Liquid nitrogen treatment
  • ECG & Spirometry
  • Driver’s Licence Medicals
  • Insurance medical assessments

Standard consultation fees for enrolled patients:

  • Child under 14 years | Free
  • Child 14 - 17 years | $13.00
  • Adults over 18 years | $19.00
  • Nurse appointment | $12.00

All fees charged are for a 15-minute consultation.

Additional charges apply for: 

  • Administration fee on accounts not paid at the end of the month
  • Longer consultations or additional services provided
  • Prescriptions
  • Non-attendance of an appointment without prior notice

 

Who is this service for?

All registered patients. Our practice is not currently enrolling new patients at this time
